Stranger Things Celebrates Its Last Season With One Final Nike Collection

Nearly a decade after its first season took the world by storm, the Stranger Things saga will finally come to a close when Netflix drops the show’s fifth and final season later this year. It’s a cultural event that’s sure to have everyone talking — and with that, Stranger Things is celebrating Season 5 with one last Nike collection, a follow-up to their original run from 2019.

As of this writing, first looks at four upcoming Stranger Things Nikes have surfaced. First up is a pair of Stranger Things Dunks featuring cracked leather and upside-down branding, with Midnight Navy on the Swoosh, lining, and outsole (another Dunk is expected to follow). Then comes the LD-1000 in a “Fuchsia Dream/Opti Yellow” colorway, followed by the Field General in “White/Wolf Grey-Black.”

Perhaps the most notable inclusion is an Air Max 1 ’87 in “White/Team Maroon-Neutral Grey.” Joe Keery — who plays Steve Harrington — was spotted wearing the sneaker in images shared by Stranger Things co-creator Ross Duffer. Given that all Stranger Things x Nike releases align with the show’s timeline, the model’s inclusion suggests Season 5 will take place in the fall of 1987 at the earliest, which is when the Air Max 1 debuted.
