Nike is set to release the Kobe 8 Protro “What The Kobe” in 2025, a tribute to Kobe Bryant that combines various elements from previous Kobe 8 designs. This sneaker features a vibrant mix of colors and patterns, with each pair offering a unique look that captures elements from some of the most sought-after pairs. The shoes were originally released in December 2013, and concluded the model, with Nike Basketball moving onto his next signature shoe.The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “What The Kobe” incorporates design elements from about 30 different colorways of previous Kobe 8 models. What makes the shoes unique? It comes in a mismatched theme, a look that was popular at the time. The left shoe features Red on the base, Green accents, and Yellow Swooshes. As for the right shoe, it comes covered in Blue with Purple detailing, and Red on the branding. Both will have 3M reflective on the medial “NIKE” branding, allowing you to stand out. Even the outsoles are mismatched and have a semi-translucent finish.
