The ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 Monaco Blue is an updated version of the Gel-Kayano 14 featuring a late 2000s aesthetic with newer technology. This iteration was the first shoe in the line to be designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano.This version of the ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 is made of a Monaco Blue mesh upper with synthetic leather overlays appearing in silver and Slack across the midsole. The toe is also rounded out by a silver overlay. The shoe features original GEL technology for shock absorption and cushioning. The sock liner is also produced in a way that reduces carbon emissions by 45%, so this shoe is also more sustainable than other models.
